Kalorama Fellowship
The Kalorama Fellowship is an extraordinary opportunity – for students in the humanities, social sciences, and environmental sciences – to conduct independent and original summer research, leading to a final project.
The research idea must be the student’s own, though students must secure a faculty mentor or supervisor to support the research. The research cannot be the same as the mentor’s own research.
Overview
- Current first-year, sophomore, and junior students in the humanities, social sciences, and environmental sciences can apply for up to $5,000. Students working on part-time Kalorama awards may receive up to $2,500.
- CRF-sponsored summer research fellowships are an equal opportunity to all current Georgetown University undergraduates regardless of immigration status.
- Visit eligibility and rules for all CRF-administered summer research programs.
- Review our Canvas course on developing a research project. (new window)
