Bio: In the spring of 2019, Arthur will be studying abroad in Spain. On campus, Arthur serves as the President for the Blue and Gray Tour Guide Society, a Development Chair for Georgetown Opportunities for Leadership Development (GOLD), and is a member of the Georgetown Saxatones. During the fall semester, Arthur was the Latin America Team Intern for Ashoka.

Brian Ferguson (COL ’18) | Oxford University
Degrees: B.A. in Government, Minor in African Studies
Bio: Brian is a recent Georgetown graduate who has overcome many difficulties, including being wrongfully convicted and incarcerated, on his journey to becoming a Marshall Scholar. While at Georgetown, Brian a nonprofit called Start Line, which helps those who have been incarcerated reintegrate into mainstream society, often hailed the “Yelp for returning citizens.” Currently, Brian serves as the Director of DC Mayor’s Office on Returning Citizen Affairs. At Oxford, Brian will study criminal justice reform and policy surrounding the criminal justice system using an international and interdisciplinary method.

Bianca Uribe (COL ’18)
Degrees: B.A. in Anthropology, Minor in Portuguese
Bio: While at Georgetown, Bianca was a GU Impacts Fellow in Lima with the Beeck Center, a Co-Chair of SOCA, and completed independent research with the help of the Kalorama Fellowship and Scott MacPherson Stapleton Award. With the Rangel, Bianca hopes to gain the experience, training, and knowledge necessary to become a U.S. Diplomat with years of service in Latin America and Africa. Bianca is particularly interested in questions of intersectionality within the foreign service field.

Degrees: Pursuing a Master of Public Administration from Seoul National University (2019), B.S.F.S. in International Political Economy.
Bio: Wookjae graduated from Georgetown in 2015. Since graduation, Wookjae has been attending graduate school in South Korea and serving as a Foreign Affairs Aide to the Minister of National Defense of South Korea.
